I think each nation has its very own characteristics. To understand us Germans a little better, Adam Fletcher (native of England) summarized his experiences in a book called “How to be German in 50 easy steps”. In my opinion he has exaggerated some things like “pre-book all the holidays years in advance”, “having the breakfast lavishly” or considering “Spiegel Online as the holy bible of German journalism”. But who can blame him since he is a comedy writer. At the end of the day about 70 percent of his observations are definitely right and he understands to write it in a very relaxed and funny way.
It is now very easy for everyone to become a world champion. 😉 #WorldCup2014 https://t.co/fAhE0KA9sc

The printed edition has been published as a bilingual turn-around book, which is an absolutely highlight to also let English speaking readers “understand” us Germans.
